NCMA/PLA Approved Paediatric First Aid (OFSTED Syllabus)
This 2-day (12 hour) course covers the OFSTED syllabus for childminders and gives candidates the knowledge and ability to deal with emergency first aid situations particularly whilst dealing with children.

- Prioritisation of casualties
- Assessment of casualties
- Resuscitation
- Choking
- Recovery position
- Causes and treatment of unconsciousness
- Bleeding and wounds
- Typical childhood illnesses
- Bleeds and burns
- Legislation
Outcomes
At the end of the course, each candidate will receive a certificate of satisfactory completion.
