Paediatric First Aid Course
This course gives candidates the knowledge and ability to deal with emergency first aid situations, particularly when dealing with children. It is an ideal course for parents and those who come into contact with children, who would like to ‘know what to do’ in a first aid situation.

- Assessment of the scene
- Prioritisation of casualties
- Assessment of casualties
- Resuscitation
- Choking
- Recovery position
- Causes and treatment of unconsciousness
- Bleeds and burns
- Typical childhood illnesses
Outcomes
At the end of the course, each candidate will receive a certificate of satisfactory completion.
