Any workplace can choose install on-site AED units. AED access and use vastly increases the survival rate of a cardiac arrest victim.  This four hour programme is for those who wish to gain knowledge of emergency first aid procedures and the ability to use an AED.

Who needs this qualification?

Where an employer takes the choice to provide a workplace AED, training is required to give staff the knowledge and confidence to use the device effectively in an emergency.

•    Recovery Position

Training Outcomes

At the end of the course, each candidate will receive a certificate of satisfactory completion.

Training Course Information

Course Duration: 4 hour programme
Assessment:  Ongoing assessment is carried out by the trainer throughout the course.
Maximum Delegates: 6
Prerequisite: A suitable aptitude for acting calmly, promptly and effectively under diverse conditions.
