Having overall raised employee first aid awareness and skills is a proactive management health & safety statement, and increases employee confidence in health and safety in the workplace.

This Health and Safety Executive approved three day-course complies with HSE First Aid Regulations of 1981. First Aid coverage in the workplace is a legal requirement and this course is a requirement by any employee required to act as a First Aider within the workplace.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 placed a responsibility on all employers to provide adequate and appropriate first aid provision for their employees. It is a legal requirement to have trained first aiders in the workplace.

A minimum six-hour programme (one day) for those who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and gain a recognised qualification in First Aid. Where an employer’s assessment of First Aid needs identifies that a three-day First Aid at Work qualification is not necessary, the minimum employers requirement
