Level 4 Food Safety Assessment Methodology

This level 4 award in supervising food safety assessment methodology course is a supplementary module designed for managers and supervisors in small, medium or large catering businesses. Anyone working in a supervisory position in the food business is not only responsible, but also accountable for food safety. It is therefore vital they are equipped with both the knowledge and confidence to do their job effectively. Delegates enrolling on this course can only do so to supplement the Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering, and Level 4 Award in Food Safety Management for Manufacturing courses.

This specific module will cover comprehensive areas of food safety assessment, considering all food safety aspects that relate to an establishment and its products, the nature and source of all materials received, the establishment’s processes and its environment. The emphasis of this course is on different aspects of risk assessment and risk communication.
