Working Safely is a one day course for people at any level, in any sector, needing a grounding of health and safety. It focuses on why health and safety is important and how you can make a real difference to the wellbeing of yourself and others through changing your behaviour. The course focuses on best practice rather than legislation.

This flexible new high impact programme covers all the main health and safety issues in the workplace. IOSH Managing Safely is a health and safety course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. The course is designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle the health and safety of their teams.

This level one qualification is aimed at those who carry out manual handling at work, introducing candidates to the risks of manual handling and the controls available. A half day, CIEH awarded training course, it is appropriate for all employees who handle materials, boxes, mail and packages including both industrial, mechanical and office workers.

Employers are responsible for providing safe and healthy workplace conditions and the right systems and methods for safe activities. But employees also have a vital part to play in the equation. They need the right knowledge and the right attitude, which demands proper training in the basics of health and safety, as well as specific training for individual tasks.

This health and safety training course allows operatives to gain the required level of competence to enter the Register of Landscape Operatives. The Department of Trade and Industry made it a duty of care that all trade bodies ensure that their members are adequately trained in health and safety and that all employers should show that personnel are properly trained.
