The Paediatric First Aid course gives candidates the knowledge and ability to deal with emergency first aid situations, particularly when dealing with children. It is an ideal course for parents and those who come into contact with children. Those attending the course will gain the confidence and a range of skills so that you ‘know what to do’ in a first aid or emergency situation involving a child.


The Early Years Foundation Stage Compliant Paediatric First Aid course is a 12-hour course which covers the Early Years Foundation Stage criteria for childminders. This course gives candidates the knowledge and ability to deal with emergency first aid situations particularly whilst dealing with children.
Emergency First Aid is a practical and adaptable programme to establish and increase knowledge of emergency procedures, and the skills to deal with typical injuries and illnesses. Having overall raised employee first aid awareness and skills is a proactive management health & safety statement, and increases employee confidence in health and safety in the workplace.
A minimum six-hour programme (one day) for those who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and gain a recognised qualification in First Aid. Where an employer’s assessment of First Aid needs identifies that a three-day First Aid at Work qualification is not necessary, the minimum employers requirement
This Health and Safety Executive approved three day-course complies with HSE First Aid Regulations of 1981. First Aid coverage in the workplace is a legal requirement and this course is a requirement by any employee required to act as a First Aider within the workplace.
