half day course is aimed at all staff who do not have a supervisory or management role but have a duty to pass on safeguarding concerns appropriately. The course looks at the potential causes and indicators of abuse and fulfilling your duty to pass on any disclosures or allegations, the feedback you can expect after making an alert.
Who needs safeguarding of vulnerable adults training?
The safeguarding of vulnerable adults (at risk) course deals with how to address any immediate safety or protection needs of the alleged adult at risk and the recording of the incident in your workplace. The course includes a presentations, handouts, group work and exercises. The style of delivery is flexible with scope for adjusting activities to suit individuals needs.
